The List
We believe that In Christ God revealed his heart to serve the world. From washing his disciples feet to bringing physical healing to many, he displays his heart to restore and love the world through acts of service.
We also believe that in Christ God powerfully reveals his heart to be with us, leaving his position and place to be with humanity. Therefore we believe that as his followers one of the most meaningful things we do together is serve.
This list exists to help our community find places to engage in service with each other for the good of the city and the glory of God. It is a list of ministries/service opportunities that people from House of Providence are currenty involved in. The way to connect with these ministries is to connect to each other.

Young Lives
Contact: Harney Heights Home Community
YoungLives offers teen moms relief from the isolation and struggle of their daily lives and hope for the future through providing mentors, parenting advice and help meeting the practical demands of raising a child. The Harney Heights Home Community helps plan a monthly dinner and hang-out time with the moms. If you are interested in joining them Contact Amanda Froescher

Band of Brothers for Christ
Contact: Tim Jessen
Band of Brothers is a men's minsitry that centers on relational restoration. Any man can enter and fellowship with us, no exceptions. We seek to mentor and encourage those who are especially in transition from addiction or incarceration into the acceptable fellowship of God's people. For many who attend, this is the only "church" they have. Our meetings are casual and include worship, prayer, testimony and a meal. Band of Brothers meets on Friday Evenings at the House of Providence Office Space at 7pm.

The Giving Closet
Contact: Rob & Alisa Josephson
The Giving Closet is a local donation closet that supplies clothing, furniture, toys and much more to families in need, free of cost. There are plenty of ways to help out, from sorting clothes and hanging up items to helping with children while families "shop." Alisa has been serving here for a while and she is a great way to connect to this ministry. Email Alisa
